Vijay into Politics??

Vijay’s fans and well-wishers were hushing about a possible announcement on the actor’s political party launch on his birthday on June 22, 2009. Vijay's silence in this regard only added fuel to the fire as he neither confirmed nor refuted the claims.

Now, however, unverified reports from the actor’s stable confirm that there are no such plans in the immediate future. “Vijay is looking to deliver a hit in the near future and announcements on any other long term plans will only be made after that,” an unnamed source was quoted as saying.
